Although the problem still is, how to attach, and are you ok with screws. And, I think I still want to BIN the subfloor, just to be completely sure that the old is gone.

Now wait a minute...
Had anyone ever thought of laying down a nicely finished plywood instead of hardwood or paint-stencils? Why yes... and thanks for taking my mind off the stencil track (sheesh)... but I do kind of really like it.
